Pleasant Day Schools offers high quality care and education. We strive to ensure that parents can feel confident that their children are safe, happy and well cared for. We provide a stimulating, hands on learning environment to help children grow and succeed.


Suzanne Marsh-Owner

Suzanne holds a Bachelors' Degree in Statistics from Virginia Tech and a Master's in Public Administration obtained at West Virginia University.

Suzanne is the Owner/Financial Administrator at Pleasant Day Schools. Suzanne acquired Pleasant Day Schools in December of 2016. She has made a lot of upgrades and changes to the center.



Paula has a Bachelor's Degree in Social Services with a concentration in Early Childhood Education, and a Master's Degree in Early Childhood Education. She graduated Cum Laude from Ashford University. Paula is a West Virginia Stars Master Trainer and an ACDS instructor. Before becoming a center director, Paula taught preschool for over 17 years. She has taught both in the school system as well as in the childcare setting. Paula is a member of the NAEYC, the National Association of Professional Women, and the Point Marion Rotary. Paula has a true passion for early childhood education and strives to make a difference in the ECE field.

Stephanie Sigley-ADMINISTRATION Assistant

Ellie Martin-Administration Assistant

Ellie has 24 years of childhood experience. She also has ACDS, WVITT, and a culinary arts and commercial foods degree. She has been a teacher at PDS for 11 Years. Miss. Ellie has two children and a granddaughter Bailey.

What are your hours of operation?

PDS is open Monday-Friday from 6:00 am- 6:00 pm. Please see the calendar in the LIFE AT PDS link to see any scheduled closings. In the event of bad weather, PDS will close if a state of emergency is declared.

What will my child learn while at PDS?

At PDS we use High Reach Learning Curriculum. The goal of High Reach is for children to become competent, eager, learners. High Reach is based on the princle that a child's development is continuous, individual, and begins at birth. At PDS we provide both child and teacher directed activites in literacy, math, science, the arts, social skills, physical development. reasoning, and problem solving to prepare children for a lifetime of learning and exploration.

print off a form and bring it with you on your next visit!
